Sara G - We had a fantastic stay in Max's lovely home this weekend. A friend and I were coming to Brighton for a conference and some shopping but didn't want to stay in a hotel. I found Max and her flat was perfect for what we wanted, close the seafront and the lanes for shopping. Max made us feel very welcome and I would strongly recommend her. We spent half the time at the conference and half out and about in Brighton - met with friends for dinner and even did some very early christmas shopping. I hadn't been to Brighton in years and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you :)

Beto A - Me and my girlfriend Victoria arrived to Brighton for the first time and Maxine made the experience amazing! A great hostess, super responsible, careful and kind. She was booked the day we were arriving to Brighton so she found us another place for that night only! After that we moved to her place which is beautiful, full of light and super close to the beach. Overall our experience could not have been better, thanks Maxine for a wonderful time, we will come back soon!

Shamila O - I recently stayed at Maxine's beautiful place in Brighton. It is very conveniently located, with a bus stop just outside and the beach a 3 minute walk away. It's very close to the high street with easy access to supermarkets, shops and places to eat. Maxine is lovely and warm - shame we didn't have much time to talk as I had a packed trip but she made me feel so welcome. Little touches such as local travel guides, access to the kitchen and free wifi made it an absolute winner. I would love to stay at her place again if I ever go to Brighton.

Sally C - After my first experience of airbnb staying with Maxine, I'm definitely a convert! In Brighton for a course I felt far more relaxed and welcome staying there than the usual hotel/bnb arrangement and added bonuses were being able to use the kitchen and the sea being barely 5 minutes walk away. Supermarkets, restaurants etc were also only minutes away. Maxine was really helpful with any questions I had, such as getting to and from the train station, even though she was having a busy weekend herself. Would thoroughly recommend.

Ian W - Perfect for what we needed (ie somewhere to crash in Brighton that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg). Very comfortable bed, easy access to a well-equipped kitchen, all centrally located close to the seafront,. No complaints at all.

Arielle F - My partner and I stayed for an evening, we arrived to a very welcoming note from Max, and while we were out most of the time and we never got to meet Max (unfortunately), we really enjoyed our stay and the bed size is definitely as accurate as the description! Really comfortable and big. The flat is very clean and well kept too. Definitely worth booking if you're looking for affordable accommodation in Brighton for a short stay.

Jessica L - Great place, very conveniently located, near the beach, room was lovely, very thoughtfully laid out with little tea-making corner, we didn't get to meet Maxine, but everything went very soothly and her friend was a star helping us out. Would definitely recommend!

Lucy C - I stayed at Max's place over the bank holiday weekend with my boyfriend. We were greeted by her sister Clare who was really lovely and gave us a tour of the place as well as recommending some fun things to do over the weekend. The room was really comfortable and clean - the bed was HUGE - and we hardly saw anyone else all weekend so felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! Max's place is in a great location, really close to all the shops and the beach is just down the road - really made such a difference to our weekend being able to walk so easily to and from town. I would definitely recommend staying here - friendly hosts, great location and a lovely flat with lots of kitsch decorations.

Denis R - This was my first experience with Max and it couldn't have gone better!!!! :) The flat and the room are absolutely lovely, a very warm welcome from the host and the place is really close to everything (an amazing pub called Lion & Lobster is really around the corner). The place is definitely better than staying in an ordinary b&b so, I strongly recommend this place to any people going to sunny Brighton.

Adriano P - Maxine and her partner Tom were extremely charming hosts!! Their place is amazing. It's full of vintage stuff! It's decorated with attention to details. I loved her objet d'art.Well Maxine is an artist...no wonder! I felt like I was staying with friends and not with people I had never met before. She upgraded me to her bigger room with no extra. As a host myself that's a very important aspect when booking a place. Their dog, Hudson, is very friendly too, you need to call him by his name first :-)! Their breakfast was very good and the entire flat was spotless. You have lots of tea selection and you can even make your tea in your own room if you like as they provide a kettle and all the necessary. It's an ideal location as it is close to the heart of town, just about 15 minute walk to the Pier and only 5 to the sea. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful retreat in beautiful Brighton!!

Jody R - Cold & blustery when I arrived at Norfolk Square; Maxine inastructed me in how to make coffee & made me a cup; shown "best bed in Britain"; felt welcomed and at home. English Channel about 2 minutes away; wonderful theatre and good art venues, all close. Most satisfactory stay.

Veronika P - Maxine was very nice, although we never met her. We had a very short-term inquiry (less than 24hrs) and she responded very quickly and everything was sorted out very quickly. The bed was big and clean. There was another nice couple staying in the other room, which is at the other end of the flat. The location of the flat is very good. Close to the city center (churchill square) and close to the sea front.

Kelly D - Amazing apartment I have had good dream there! Maxine is so kind and thoughtful, she prepared clean towel for me and surprised me by the maps and other tourist materials, all helpful for me. She marked all the good shops and restaurants on the map also. And apartment is very beautiful and clean! Less than 5 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk to the bus station. Generally, this is definitely a nice stay.
